Aloha from Hawaii!

A couple of days after Christmas, we spent the day with Rylee's Grandma and Grandpa Carder before leaving on our trip to Maui, Hawaii. We met up in Maui with our friends from Utah (The Moore family: Chris, Melissa, Lexi(6), and Sara (2)) and our friends from Alaska (The Soifer family: Kolman, Julie, and Kegen(2)). The majority of our Aloha time was spent in Ka'anapali, on the Northwest side of Maui. The last two nights, we stayed in Hana. Rylee loved swimming and seemed to grow more hair and grow taller just during the trip. Must have been the warm temperatures, sunshine, and lack of rain :o) See the next two Aloha posts below for pictures.

We had two nights in Hana, which you get to after a long grueling drive through lush greenery. The pictures don't do it justice!

Aloha from Ka'anapali

Here are a few from our stay in Ka'anapali. Our room had an ocean view :o) We went to a luau, spent time on the beach, did a lot of swimming in the pool, watched the Rose Bowl :o( , went on a whale watching cruise, and snuggled up in our room watching Elmo.

A little more Christmas

A few more from Christmas day! Rylee thought it was super funny to go for a ride in Grandma's new basket from the South Carolina Carders! Ry and Grandma were being silly together, too :o)
