More pictures of Rylee and her room

Just wanted to post a few more pictures of Rylee and her new room. These were taken yesterday and today, so 11 and 12 days old. Her Great-Auntie Joy made the red bedspread and all of the pillow covers on the day bed. Didn't they turn out cute? Thank you Auntie Joy!!!

Look Aunt Shelly, I managed to make a new ticker showing her age!

Welcome Rylee Tamara Cline!

Rylee Tamara Cline was born on August 12, 2008 at 6:03pm. She weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces and was 19 inches long. Mom, Dad, and Rylee are all doing well after 4 long days and nights at the hospital and are getting settled in at home. Rylee has been busy meeting new people (including 6 grandparents and 4 great-grandparents!!!), getting her diaper changed and being woken up to eat. We are lucky enough that she has slept for 5 or 6 hours without waking up already! However, she has some work to do to get back to her birth weight, which means waking her up every 3 hours. Funny to look at the ticker today - it says one day left as her due date was supposed to be tomorrow! We already celebrated her one week Birthday on Tuesday!

The picture with her eyes closed is at the hospital right after she was born. The other two were within the last couple of days since we have been home. More to come soon!!!

Thank you to everyone for all of your support and generosity. We very much appreciate everything that everyone has done for us!!!

Now we are officially really close

We had a doctor's appointment on Wednesday, and our doctor said that we will be having the baby within two weeks! Two weeks from Wednesday puts us a little more than a week before our due date. Our doctor has been carefully monitoring the baby's growth, which is a little slower than they like to see. At our Wednesday appointment, she said that the placenta is starting to get worn out. This means that the baby will soon be better off in the outside world, even he or she is a little small! So, for the next two weeks, I go to the doctors twice a week so that they can monitor the baby and decide the best time for the baby to be born. Or even better, hopefully the baby lets us know the right time first!
