Getting closer and closer

Our doctors appointments are only 2 weeks apart now and apparently will be one week apart soon. We have had ultrasounds at our last two appointments. It is so fun to see the baby moving around. He or she really likes to have his or her hands in its face, which makes it difficult to get good pictures to share. I am attaching one with the hand pretty much covering the face just for fun - if you look really hard, you can see the corner of the lips and part of the nose even in this one. And also one where you can see his or her little eyes, nose, and lips pretty well! Not to worry, the ultrasound tech assured us that the baby really does have a whole head and face, the pictures just cut part of it off. We just bought a car seat and stroller combo. We felt like car seat was the only thing left that we just absolutely can't live without :o) This weekend I think I am going to start washing all the new little clothes for the baby. Other than that, I think we are pretty much as ready as we are going to get!

It's already July

Now that it's July, we are getting used to saying that we are having the baby NEXT month. Unbelievable! Time has been flying by. We just had our best friends, Chris, Melissa, Lexi, and baby Sara visiting last week. Melissa had some good advice, and we got to practice a little. We have a doctors appointment and ultrasound tomorrow. If the pictures turn out, I will try to post some. For now, here are some from the baby shower that my friends at work threw for me! Also, please keep my brother in your thoughts... He is in his first few days of a year long remote Air Force assignment in Korea.
