First Doctors Appointment

We had our first appointment on Thursday and everything went great. We really liked the doctor - this is a new one because my regular doctor doesn't deliver babies. To the right are the ultrasound pictures. Like a completely unbiased mom to be, I think the baby looks cute already :o) We could see the quick little heartbeat! It's even more real now for both of us, but especially for Eric. I will go to the doctor every 4 weeks until it gets closer. I will have another ultrasound in 8 weeks and should have more to report then!

Hello and Welcome

Not sure how this will go... Eric and I are expecting our first child and thought it might be fun to try a blog to share news with everyone. It seems like forever from now, but I think it will be a great way to share pictures of and stories about our eventual new arrival. Hope you don't mind, Shelly, that I copied your blog name :o) I thought it would be really easy for family who check both to remember the name!

I am about six or seven weeks along and have my first prenatal appointment on the 24th of this month. I should have more to report then!
